First, we define your voice and conversation rules
Handling messages takes more than prepared replies. We agree on writing style, topics that are off limits, how to respond to unusual requests and situations that need your decision. The team should know where its independence ends.
We do not base communication on invented information about you, promises of meetings or claims of a personal relationship that you do not intend to fulfil. Disclosures about team support and the tools used should reflect how the service actually operates and the platform's rules.
PPV should offer clear value
PPV means content unlocked for a separate payment. Before an offer is sent, the recipient should be able to understand what it covers and what they are buying. We clarify the relationship between subscription content and additional material so the same promise is not sold in conflicting ways.
We plan descriptions, offer frequency and library organisation. We pay attention to whether someone is being offered content they already own. The content, scope and presentation must be agreed with you.
- A clear distinction between a subscription and an additional purchase.
- A description that reflects the actual content.
- Rules for individual requests and content outside the offer.
- A communication frequency that takes audience responses into account.
Price is part of the whole offer
We do not set prices solely by comparing them with a random profile. We consider the scope of the content, its presentation, the offer's history and audience expectations. A price change without an explanation of value may generate more questions instead of making purchases easier.
When we test a price or offer format, we establish which outcome will determine the result. Purchase numbers are one signal; refunds, complaints, cancellations and responses from regular profile users also matter. We do not treat a short sales spike as proof of lasting improvement.
A reason to return matters
Retention means maintaining the interest of existing subscribers. A consistent offer, predictable communication and content that matches earlier announcements all help. Too many sales messages can weaken the experience even when some offers find buyers.
Within the agreed scope, we examine purchases, renewals and signs of dissatisfaction. We compare them with the frequency of posts and offers. We agree on service hours, message access and escalation arrangements before starting; round-the-clock support is not assumed automatically.
You do not have to answer every operational message yourself to retain influence over the direction of communication. You do, however, need clear rules, visibility and a way to raise concerns. A well-defined division of responsibilities serves that purpose.
